 The 2006 2007 Volkswagen Golf is roughly parallel in equipment to the Jetta. However, while the Jetta comes in sedan and wagon body styles, the Golf is offered as a two-door and four-door hatchback. As such, the Golf is perhaps a little more on the sporty side than its Jetta siblings. However, both come in a wide array of trims, with several different power levels available. The Golf alone can be had in four models, and that's not including the GTI, covered separately. For 2006 2007, there is one new option that adds an even greater level of security. It is the OnStar assistance system, designed to keep you covered at all times. For northern climates, Volkswagen offers a Cold Weather Package. It includes heated front seats and washer jets.
Anyone who's ever experienced the frustration of dealing with frozen washers while driving down the road will appreciate this option. Volkswagen Golf offers driving excellence and high levels of refinement. It's agile and responsive, making it fun to drive. Yet it's remarkably practical, and offers admirable gas mileage. 2006 2007 Volkswagen Golf is also fairly well equipped in terms of comfort features. This makes even long rides quite easy to handle. Some of the things you'll find include air conditioning, cruise control, height-adjustable front bucket seats, a center console, heated power mirrors, power windows and door locks and an AM/FM/cassette/CD player. The Golf returns for this year with only minor changes.
Emissions have been improved on the vehicle, as well as the front wipers. Additionally, seatbelt and fuel cap warning lights have been added to the instrument cluster. The OnStar Telematics Communication System is being newly offered for this year as an option on all models. Electonic stability traction control is also available optionally. Seats four comfortably, five for short trips. The great advantage of a hatchback, of course, is the amount of cargo space available with the rear seat folded, plus the ease of loading and unloading said cargo.
