A 4.7-liter V8, it is able to generate 240 horsepower at 4800 rpm and 315 lb-ft of torque at 3400 rpm. Teamed to this engine is a 4-speed electronically-controlled automatic transmission with overdrive. Both Toyota Sequoia models offer a rear-wheel drive configuration or a four-wheel drive configuration. It can be used on dry pavement and it includes a locking center differential and low-range gearing. Uplevel Limited models add such things as leather upholstery, heated front seats, an 8-way power driver seat, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with radio controls and a trip computer. It offers self-leveling rear suspension as an optional item. It is larger than Toyota's Japanese-sourced Land Cruiser, slightly smaller than a Ford Expedition. It is very civilized, quiet, comfortable, and, in the Limited version very luxurious. |
