This car has a larger 2.2L engine, 17-inch wheels, wider interior and a facelift for both the front and rear. Also has slightly increased torque figure, and is available lower in the rev range. A 6-speed manual transmission provides lower gear ratios on gears one through five, and a higher sixth speed gear for highway
cruising. It offer a 4.2-liter, 24-valve, DOHC aluminum inline six-cylinder engine that pumps out 275 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 275 pound-feet of torque at 3,600 rpm. There will be a choice of two-wheel drive with optional traction control or on-demand four-wheel drive, which includes a low-speed transfer case. Test extended-length 2WD 6-cyl averaged 12.1 mpg in all city driving.
