When Dodge decided to reenter Winston Cup racing in the 1990s, they
chose the Neon to represent the brand. The 2006 2007 Dodge Neon is fast -
real fast. The Neon is a great car at an affordable price. New for this
year, the improved Neon comes in three models:
Standard on the Neon SE is a 2.7-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 engine that delivers 200 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and produces 190 pounds-per-foot of torque at 4,850 rpm. The Neon ES offers a new 3.5-liter engine that delivers 232 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and produces 241 pounds-per-foot of torque at 4,000 rpm. Finally, the Neon SXT has a 3.5-liter HO V6 24-valve engine that delivers 250 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and produces 250 pounds-per-foot of torque at 3,900 rpm.
