When Dodge decided to reenter Winston Cup racing in the 1990s, they chose the Intrepid to represent the brand. The 2006 2007 Dodge Intrepid is fast - real fast. The Intrepid is a great car at an affordable price. New for this year, the improved Intrepid comes in three models:

Standard on the Intrepid SE is a 2.7-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 engine that delivers 200 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and produces 190 pounds-per-foot of torque at 4,850 rpm. The Intrepid ES offers a new 3.5-liter engine that delivers 232 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and produces 241 pounds-per-foot of torque at 4,000 rpm. Finally, the Intrepid SXT has a 3.5-liter HO V6 24-valve engine that delivers 250 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and produces 250 pounds-per-foot of torque at 3,900 rpm. All models also feature standard independent touring suspension and four-wheel disc brakes.
